Every Weston Sub Rosa Audit™ engagement begins with attorney-retained intake reviewed personally by Richard Weston, FCLS. Initial inquiries route through intake@westonintel.com.
Submission of information does not create an engagement. Substantive review of the surveillance package begins after Weston Intelligence accepts the matter and an engagement letter is executed. Initial intake establishes the matter scope, identifies the parties, and routes the inquiry to the principal for evaluation.
All engagements are structured as non-testifying consulting work product under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(b)(4)(D) and applicable state-law equivalents.

Secure upload instructions will be provided after intake routing and execution of the engagement letter.
Initial intake may request retaining counsel information, firm information, case name or caption, jurisdiction, plaintiff or claimant name, defendant or insured name, carrier, TPA, self-insured information, defense counsel, surveillance vendor, known investigator names and license numbers, disclosure date, surveillance dates, video volume, report volume, deadlines, requested engagement objective, and opposing-party participants.
The structured email template available at intake@westonintel.com contains the field structure expected at initial intake. Counsel may complete what is known and submit; missing items can be supplied during principal review.
When the engagement letter is executed and secure upload coordinates are provided, the upload may include surveillance video, surveillance reports, photographs, billing summaries, tasking materials, investigator disclosures, chain-of-custody records, metadata or native files where available, pleadings, discovery correspondence, deposition transcripts, background or social-media materials provided by counsel, and other matter records.
Secure upload proceeds through a SOC 2 Type II certified secure file-transfer platform with documented chain-of-custody handling. Transfer coordinates are issued directly by Richard Weston after engagement is established.
Matter submitted. Your inquiry has entered intake review under the Intake and Conflict Protocol. No substantive review of the surveillance package begins until the engagement letter is executed. Principal review will determine fit, scope, and engagement pathway.
Initial response from the principal is typically delivered within one business day. Engagement letters, when issued, are delivered through DocuSign for electronic execution.
